I have a yappy little Chihuahua that of course thinks he is all big and bad and just wants to be heard. ANNOYING! So I got this collar and it works okay...that's why I only gave it three stars. My dog has to bark at a certain level in order for it to go off...and I think he has figured this out so he will keep his barks to a lower register and just let out small little half barks. Soo it still gets on my nerves. But when he does let out a full bark it does work and he usually backs down his barks. I just want him to totally stop barking not just bark quieter. LOL! So I am half and half on this one. Works half the time the way it was advertised. I think maybe this would work on a bigger dog instead of a smaller one like mine because their bark has a little more bass to it.

this collar started paying for itself from the first bark my puppy did after we put it on her.... she has only barked maybe 3-4 times in the 5 days she's been wearing it.... and those will be short once-only barks instead of the constant irritating barking she'd normally do the minute we took her outside.... she even barks less inside when the collar is not on......... it has made our life much calmer and more pleasant and no more nasty notes on my door from my neighbors... worth every dime i spent for it!

My puppy used to bark all the time, but after I used this collar, he hasn't. It trained him to not bark with a little shock to the neck. A virtually painless method to train puppies and dogs that barking is bad, the no-bark collar is a great pick for breeders or just a family dog owner.

good value and it works. I just wish there was a way to use the collar for correcting bad behaviors. It only works on barking activation

This item works. After we received a couple of nasty phone calls from a neighbor, we knew we had to do something. We bought this hoping that the barking would be reduced, but the big surprise is that there is complete silence in the backyard. The dog occasionally barks(very rare), but no more than twice before he stops . I wish we had bought this sooner. Thanks to the manufacturer for making a product that actually works and, better yet, forces our neighbors to find someone else to complain about.
