I bought this because one of my dogs has a luxating patella and the other just can't jump in the bed. The price was decent and it appeared to be a good deal. It's made of plastic and appears to be rather cheap looking, but it does the job it was intended to do. I have it in my carpeted bedroom, so I don't have the issues that others may experience with it sliding on the floor...I can see how this would be a problem though. I do agree that the stairs should be covered entirely and I also think they should be a little wider. As it's made right now, the stairs get more narrow as you get to the top of the stairs and I see that my dog has to pause before she takes the final leap into bed. I've also noticed that her foot slips sometimes on the bare portions of the step. I'll keep this because it does what I need it to do, but will probably spend money on something more aesthetically pleasing and is made more like a real set of stairs.

It took a day or two for her to go up but now she uses them every time she goes on the bed. Built nice and now she loves them!!!!!

Bought this for my aging dog, there is not enough traction carpet on it, he misses the small treads with his claws and he slips off and falls off. Other than that this is a great height for a bed, takes him right even with it, but it just needs more carpet on it. If the fully carpeted it, that would be great. I cut an arch in the back (the tall part) and the cat loves it. A 2-1 deal!!

i really like the pet stairs, they are for our small dog in the dining room
window. it is one step to short. other wise construction is great, very well made.
i did glue regular carpet to each step. on the whole i would buy it again.

These stairs work perfectly for our pug. They are lightweight and moved slightly when in use which we resolved easily by setting them on a doormat.
