The toy looked cool. The feet were the first to go. Soon after, Mr. Duck lost it's beak. By about day 10 Mr. Duck couldn't quack to save his stuffing, his quacker had been gutted. By that time it was too late. A few days later we found Mr. Duck with his stuffing on the floor. Poor Mr. Duck. Bubba, our dog, really did like Mr. Duck though. It was a good relationship that Bubba and Mr. Duck had, but like so many relationships that take off quickly, it ended quickly with broken hearts and Bubba pooping cotton for three days.

Very detailed, good looking toy that has a great "honk" sound that is actually pretty realistic. The body appears to be fairly durable, but my 40 pound spaniel was able to tear off one wing within an hour and and the other wing within 12 hours of it arriving. Nonetheless, he absolutely loved this toy right out of the box and hasn't put it down since. If durability weren't such an issue, I would have definitely given it five stars. If you have a dog who isn't as determined to obsessively chew through and tear apart anything plush that you give to him, this would be a great toy.

A previous reviewer said this is better than the hertz toy found in grociery stores. It's actually the same exact toy, and lasted about ten minutes before it was destroyed by my Golden. If my dog didn't love it so much, I would have only given it one star for durability.

All these AKC stuffed toys are great. My lab never gets tired of them, and they are pretty durable considering it's a stuffed animal. We just order a different one every few months as they wear out.

Have a 12 yr old beagle. He loves this toy! When he was younger he had a duck from the local pet store. He loved it! Ran around squeking it all day, that was until he sat down and removed the noise maker!
This duck seems to be more sturdy than the other one we had. He did attempt to rip it apart but I put it up before he could remove the legs! It is very realistic. My kids called it a goose though.
I will buy another one and probably another shape in the future. Good price here too.
