This is the third burrow bed of this type in 11 years for my 9 lb. mini dachshund Heidi. She loves her bed and will be found snuggled under the cover any time she is not in one of our laps. We had great success with the other two which lasted about 5 years each. The only problem with the beds has been a lack of enough stuffing in the pillow. I purchased a small bag of batting for the first one and then used stuffing from the previous bed to fill the second and this new one. Adding stuffing is no problem as there are zippers on both the bed and pillow. The beds also held up well to repeated washing. Be sure you remove the pillow containing the batting before washing. I usually put the pillow outside in the sun for several hours while the cover dries and have never had a problem with doggy odor.

I have two doxies. If there is one thing you need to know about this breed is that they love to be wrapped up in blankets hot or cold. This bed is perfect: it's soft, comfy, and it provides that warm cover that they can't live without. Now I need to get one more, since they always fight for the one we have.

This product came as expected. My dog loves to lay in it, as she does almost anything. I gave it 3 starts because to me it wasn't "great" or "terrible" but somewhere "in the middle".

We've only had it for a day so far but they are literally wrestling each other to see who gets to use it next so looks as if we'll have to order another. We have the larger bed, it's just the right size for the 'tweenie' dachshunds. It's nice and soft and very pillow-y, with a little cover going across to do some burrowing. The cover is a little shallow but they have dragged their blanket in there and burrow under that while sleeping. Guess we need another!
