Looked nice when I opened it. I got it as a liner for my crate. My dog destroyed it within a week. I didn't expect indestructible, but I did want something a bit sturdier.

especially my older kitty who is almost 15 years old. She loves to sleep on our sofa which has comfy down cushions -- who can blame her? I used to cover the sofa with towels or sheets (ugly and a PIA) but placing this pet bed on the sofa has worked out much better. She still sleeps on the sofa but ON her Quiet Time pet bed. No more sheets or towels covering the whole sofa. In the summer, I also put one of these beds on her favorite wicker chair in our screened sun porch. I cannot give an opinion as to how these beds hold up to washing and drying as I have not done that. These beds are relatively inexpensive so when they get too dirty or too full of hair after two or three months, I just throw them away and get new ones. I do vacuum them periodically with the hose attachment. Great pet beds!

Just got the bed today and my dog is already laying on it and resting his side on the very nice raised edges. I have a 42-by-26" crate and the same size in the bed fits perfectly. It's made out of nice materials, without any weird or strong smells like a lot of beds I've ordered before. I think it will last a while, even though my dog is a chewer, but I will do an update in about a month when I can see how well it's stood up to heavy use.
